Fruit That Will Last

Welcome!!

God is at work from the planted seeds or plugs, the growing season, the harvesting, the sharing, and the storing of the produce! We experience the Fruit of The Spirit as we go through each phase of gardening! It is marvelous to see God at work and we want to share that joy with you!

Fruit Of The Spirit Displayed As We Garden

Planting

There is delight in working in the Kingdom of God as there is in the garden! You develop Self-Control and Patience as you water, weed, mulch,  prune and interact with others.

Galatians 6:9Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” There is a sense of Peace as you wait on the Lord!

Proverbs 28:19 Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies will have their fill of poverty.”

Corinthians 3: 6I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.”

Harvesting

One of the many blessings of gardening is in sharing with others! 2 Corinthians 9:11You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.” Sharing is an expression of God’s Love! John 3:16 says: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” We glorify God by being Kind and Good as we share our Love for Jesus Christ through the bountiful blessings in our garden!

Another blessing is in consuming the produce from our gardens – Farm To Table! –  in the meals we eat and share with friends!

There is Love in planting the seeds and Faith that we’ll have a bountiful harvest! Isaiah 61:11 For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign LORD will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.” Sowing the ‘seeds of the Gospel‘ into the lives of others around you brings new life into the Kingdom of God!  Corinthians 3: 6 I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.”

Growing

Psalm 92:12-13 “The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God.” Harvest time is a beautiful, Joyful  time! We don’t always see the results of God’s blessings in the lives of others but here we see the results of what we did!  Its an exercise in Love, Gentleness and Self-Control! 2 Corinthians 9:10 “Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.” We thank God for His bountiful blessings!

God wants us to enjoy His creation! Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the sound of singing.” Enjoy these flowers from the garden!

Psalm 92:12-13 says: “The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God.” Staying in God’s Word leads to more fruitful living!
