Here is what is said about the Scriptures, which is another word for the bible.

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work” 2 Timothy 3:16-17.

God is Working in the Details - Part 1

Many have asked us how the Holy Spirit guided us in the following: build customized computers and a website, build a community garden, and compose, arrange, and perform music for all kinds of genres. Here is a sure list below that continues to bring success for us. Also, go to the Technology home page for Part 2 of God is Working in the Details.

  • Whatever you ask or imagine, Jesus will do. All you have to do is to trust and obey Him (Ephesians 3:20).
  •
  • Where two or more are gathered in His name, there He will be (Matthew 18:20).
  •
  • Everybody in the home agreed as one (Romans 15:5-6).
  •
  • The Lord will supply all your needs (Philippians 4:19).
  •
  • Work as if working for the Lord (Colossians 3:23-24).
  •
  • Rejoice always, pray continually, and give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).

Consider it pure joy, whenever you face many difficulties (James 1:2-3).

A TREE AND ITS FRUIT

Luke 6: 43  No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. 44  Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers.

45c For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

The Good Man

A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart. Luke 6:45a

The Evil Man

An evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. Luke 6:45b

The Saved Man

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

Jesus Teaches Us To Be Fruitful - Matthew 15:1 - 17

1. Jesus and His Father

John 15: 1-4

1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

3. Jesus Loves You

John 15: 9-11

9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.

5. Jesus Calls You Friend

John 15: 14-15

14 You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

7. Jesus Gives Us A Command

John 15: 17

17 This is my command: Love each other.

2. Jesus is The True Vine

John 15: 5-8

5 I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

4. Jesus Tells Us To Love Each Other

John 15: 12-13

12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

6. Jesus Chose You

John 15: 16

16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.

In Conclusion

Jesus teaches us how to stay true to him and to God. God is the gardener, Jesus is the vine, and we are the branches. We must remain in Jesus in order to be fruitful. We are loved and must love each other. We are chosen and have a command to keep. If we stay true to Jesus’ teaching, we will bear much fruit!
