When God's Child Worries
Part 5 - When you realize that you've sinned; come back to God, your Father!
As Christians, there will be times when we sin. But, we are told in 1 John 2:1-2 that if we sin, we have a defender who will support us in dealing with our sin problem. Thank you, dear Father God, for sending Jesus to save us! Thank you, Jesus, for going to the cross on our behalf to pay the price for our sins so that we don’t have to!
What comforting words for the children of God! “Do not forget,” in John 17, that Jesus prayed for us that God, our Father, would protect us from the evil one since we are still in the world, even though our citizenship is in Heaven.
Whatever happens to us on earth, we should celebrate being Kingdom children because the Holy Spirit, our guide and comforter, continues to show us the Kingdom of God! We should also celebrate being Kingdom children because the Holy Spirit, our guide and comforter, continues to show us God’s Will for each of our lives!
