We want everyone to know how thankful we are for what Jesus continues to do in our lives by showcasing some of what we have done through Jesus, our Lord and Savior. In this way, we are letting our “light shine before men (Matthew 5:16a).”

The reason why God wants us to let our light shine before men are so “that they may see our good works and glorify our Father, who is in heaven (Matthew 5:16b).” We do not just want to be blessed; we want to be a blessing to others who see our good works and are led to give glory to our Father in heaven.

It is great to be blessed by the Lord and to do our part in the Kingdom of God! The Word of God puts it like this, “if we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit” (Galatians 5:25). We enjoy the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, etc.), as Jesus works through us to not only bless us but we become a blessing to others!
