Computer Parts
Here is a partial listing of some of the hardware and the system software used in building my computer system. The cables used were not listed as that would make this a cumbersome page!
The PCPartPicker website was used to design the computer system and it lets you know whether or not the parts you selected are compatible.
Computer Case

Ram (Memory)
This is the physical device capable of storing information temporarily (RAM-random access memory) or permanently (ROM-read only memory).
Graphics Card
The graphics card produces the image you see on your monitor. It has its own processor, a GPU or graphical processing unit that allow computers to produce graphics and images more quickly.
Optical Drive
This type of drive allows a user to retrieve, edit and delete the content from optical disks such as CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray disks using laser beaming technology.
CPU Fan/Cooler
This is designed to draw heat away from the system CPU. It improves efficiency and stability of the system.
CPU - Central Processing Unit
The CPU is the brains of the computer where most calculations take place.
HDD - Hard Drive
This is data storage device that uses magnetic storage to store and retrieve digital data using one or more rigid rapidly rotating platters coated with magnetic material.
Motherboard
The motherboard is a printed circuit board and provides connectivity between the hardware components of a computer.
Solid State Drive
The SSD is a type of mass storage device that stores data using flash memory. This makes it faster than the traditional hard disk drive.
Power Supply
This supplies the computer components with power. The RM750 is a fully Modular power supply unit.
Keyboard
This is one of the input devices used to input data into the computer system.
Computer Mouse
This is one of the input devices used to select data and to input data into the computer system.
Windows 10 Operating System
It is a software system that providees an interface between computer user and computer hardware across multiple devices, such desktop computers, tablets, and smartphones.
Monitor
This is an output device that displays information in pictorial form. A monitor usually comprises the visual display, circuitry, casing, and power supply.
