What about those who bear fruit and God prunes so they can become more fruitful? When God is pruning a branch that bears fruit, He is trimming away and redirecting parts of the branch that hinder the growth and beauty of the fruit. (John 15:2) What you end up with are more beautiful fruits. Many times we find ourselves as children of God struggling with all kinds of issues in the world that try to hinder our walk with God or causes us to stumble. If we return to Jesus, God is faithful and will trim away any difficulties we face.
Scripture Passages
John 15:2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.
Isaiah 6:10b Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears,
understand with their hearts,
and turn and be healed.”
1 John 1:5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
1 John 2:1 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
