Fruit That Will Last

  • I am the vine; you are the branches.
  • If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit;
  • apart from me you can do nothing.

WHAT GOD SAYS ABOUT YOU MATTERS!!

Introduction

Let the Spirit of God settle in your spirit so that Jesus can live in your heart through faith in the Word of God (Ephesians 3:16-17). You will be blessed in all you do (Psalms 1:1-3) and become a blessing to others (Mark 12:28-31). This is how we bear fruit; fruit that will last (John 15:1-16).

The Promise of the Holy Spirit for you through Jesus Christ

Acts 1:4 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; 5 for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” 6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7 And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. 8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Jesus prays that the Holy Spirit will be with you, and He will also come to you

John 14:15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

God and His Son, Jesus will love you, if you have and keep His Commandments, and He will manifest (show) Himself to you

John 14:19 “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. 20 At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. 21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.

God and His Son, Jesus will make their home with you, if you love and keep His Word

John 14:22 Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, “But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?” 23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.

You can always be filled with the Holy Spirit

Ephesians 5:18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, …

To be always filled with the Holy Spirit, speak and sing with a happy, thankful and submissive heart to God through Jesus Christ

Ephesians 5:19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, 20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, 21 submitting to one another in the fear of God.

Summary
