Its not easy to recognize good and bad people by just looking at them, but the bible tells us to do what they say but not what they do because they do not practice what they preach (Matthew 23:3). However, by their fruit we will know them (Matthew 7:16 & 20). We are a part of the body of Christ and do not bear fruit on our own. John 15:4 says that we must remain in the vine (Jesus) if we are to bear fruit.

So what fruit are we talking about? We are talking about the fruit of the Spirit!! Galations 5:22-23 tells us that the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. We have the fruit of the Spirit in us when the Holy Spirit is present and being displayed in our daily living through these attributes...against which there is no law!!!!
